The Belted Galloway breed represented at shows and exhibitions throughout the country is one of the best (if not the best) way to market our breed. We recognize the hard work of our members and their personal investment. We would like to thank everyone who exhibited cattle on behalf of the Belted Galloway breed. 2021 Show Point Awards
Female of the Year
Sunnybrook Java, 45697B
Sunnybrook Java, 45697B was bred by Sunnybrook Farms, Terry and Julie Willis, Belvidere, IL. Java is owned and shown by Maddey Tebbe, Pocahontas, IL. Her sire is HCS Flannagan, Platinum Award Winner and Runner Up Sire of the Year in 2021. Her dam is Platinum Award Winner Sunnybrook Jade, 2-time Cow-Calf of the Year with Java (2020) and Jewel (2021) at her side. Java was at the side of her dam Sunnybrook Jade who was named Miss World Galloway 2020.
Java was named Miss World Galloway 2021. She is Maddey's first Belted Galloway and they have become the best of friends! Java has been in the spotlight since she was a calf. Keeping her in the spotlight, Maddey and Java's big wins were Grand Champion Heifer at the Midwest Classic, World Beef Expo, and the National Show at NAILE, along with multiple AOB wins at county fairs.
Bull of the Year
Moonshadow Roman 46875B
Moonshadow Roman 46875B was bred and owned by Scot & Christine Adams of Starks, ME. His sire is the 2013 Fryeburg Fair Supreme Champion Holbrook Hill Zulu Warrior III. His dam is Anderson Hill Moscow, she is out of the multiple time champion Anderson Hill Bop Man. Both his sire and grand sire are Platinum Achievement Bulls with many champion offspring to their credit.
Roman is structurally correct, heavily muscled, powerhouse of a bull with the eye appeal on the profile to make him easily rise to the top in the show ring. He was named Supreme Champion Bull in 2021 at Skowhegan, Union, and Fryeburg Fairs. Congratulations to Colby Woods Cattle for being the new owners of this outstanding bull.

Countyline Connor, 37033B has surpassed the success of his parents, Southdown Unique, Rolling Acres Deloris, and his 2 full sisters who were all past national point show winners. He was bred by Jay and Liz Dausman, Pierceton, IN and is owned by Sunnybrook Farms, Belvidere, IL.
Connor is the only bull to receive Show Bull, Sire a Show Bull of the Year and two Show Females of the year, plus 5- time Sire of the Year and Runner Up Sire of the Year in 2020 with just 6 calf crops. His bone, thickness, and style are easily recognizable in his progeny. In 2021 his progeny and grand progeny continued to dominate at all the major shows attended. Connor's daughters are producing offspring that are being extremely successful at all the major shows. His progeny are also excelling in carcass quality based on ultrasound data collected and actual data on harvested steers. Connor's daughters are crossing really well with our other herd sire, HCS Flannagan, who was runner up Sire of the Year.

Sunnybrook Jackie (AI) 30966B was bred by Southdown Farm, Bedminster, NJ and owned by Chris and Steve Willis, of Sunnybrook Farms, Belvidere, IL. Jackie's sire, is Driftwood Jackal, 6969B and her Dam is Southdown Sophia 1S 29518B, they are both Platinum Lifetime award winners.
Jackie has already earned the Platinum Lifetime Award. We are very proud of another Sunnybrook female to be named Show Female of the Year and go on to exceed what she was bred to do and be named Dam of the Year for the past 2 years. Her progeny and grand progeny are standouts in the show ring and the pasture. Her 2015 daughter, Sunnybrook Jade, was named 2020 and 2021 Cow/Calf of the Year. Her 2021 calf, Sunnybrook Cinch was named Champion Bull at several shows.

Sunnybrook Jade, 39401B, is bred and owned by Sunnybrook Farms Belvidere, IL. She is a platinum lifetime award winner and her pedigree contains many Platinum Award Winners. She was the first daughter born out of 5-time Sire of the Year, Countyline Connor. Her dam (Sunnybrook Jackie) and granddam (Southdown Sophie) have both been Dam of the Year winners.
Jade has been in the spotlight since she was a calf. Jade and her calf, Jewel have been champions at several shows in 2021. At the same time her 2020 calf, Java, was show female of the year and recently named Miss World Galloway 2021. The judges have always commented how competitive she would be against any breed. All of her calves have been successfully shown and her most impressive achievement is being named 2020 Miss World Galloway.
